Itinerary for 2 days tour from Fes to Marrakech :

The 2 days desert tour of Marrakech begins with a prompt pickup from either the airport or your accommodation in Fes. We then travel southward through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, renowned for its low temperature, snow, and alpine-style houses, hence the nickname "the Switzerland of Morocco." Next, we visit the cedars forest where Barbary Macaque monkeys reside and have the opportunity to feed them while exploring the forest. After that, we head to Midelt for lunch. From there, we proceed to the Sahara desert through the Tizi N Tilghmt pass and alongside the Ziz river.

Upon arriving in the afternoon, you'll reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you'll mount camels and traverse the sand dunes. A stop will be made for you to witness the captivating sunset from the top of a towering dune. Then, you'll head to the desert camp, where you can relish Berber drum music and dance beneath the star-filled sky around the campfire. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

A sunrise in the desert is a must-see, so an early wake-up is required. After admiring the sunrise, you'll have some free time for breakfast before riding camels back to Merzouga and meeting your driver. The tour then heads west, passing through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges. Here, the Todra River has carved a grand canyon into the mountains, creating a red cliff-sided canyon. Next, you'll see various Kasbahs and palm tree groves before arriving in Ouarzazate, with free time for lunch.

The journey continues to Marrakesh, passing the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that has appeared in movies such as "Gladiator," "Alexander," and "The Mummy" and TV series like "Game of Thrones." The tour then takes you through the Tizi N Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains before reaching Marrakesh. Finally, you'll be taken to the airport or your accommodation, marking the end of the tour.
