Experience a one-in-a-lifetime journey from Fes to the Sahara Desert and Camel Trek with All Morocco Tours.

Day 1 : Fez _ Atlas Mountains _ifrane_ Cedar Forest _ Errachidia _ erfoud_erg chabbi  (470 km). 7 Hours

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes at 8:00 a.m. and drive you to Merzouga Desert via the Middle Atlas Mountains to begin your 3 days tour from Fes. We’re going to take an enjoyable trip through some traditional Berber towns.

Travel to the picturesque city of Ifrane (dubbed the “Moroccan Switzerland”), then on to Azrou’s famous cedar forest to see macaque monkeys , and finally to the town of Midelt for lunch.

After that, we’ll travel south through the scenic Ziz Valley on our way to Erfoud, a town famous for  fossils and its annual festival of dates market. We will arrive at the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes in the late afternoon, and spend the night at the hotel in Merzouga.

Day 2:  Merzouga _  khamlia_ nomad_ oasis_ camel riding (50 km).3 hours

Today we will start our journey with a four-wheel drive car  from your hotel shortly after breakfast to visit various fascinating locations near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Hassi Labied oasis, with its irrigation canal and land agriculture, will be our first stop. From there, we’ll travel south to Sriji Lake, a seasonal body of water (if there’s water in it).

If you’re interested in hearing the Gnawa music of the people with black skin who were taken to Morocco as immigrants and worked as slaves more than a century ago, go on to the town of Khamlia.

Once it is done, we’ll go on to the M’ifis mines. In addition, minerals and fossils found in the Merzouga desert are much sought after. During our tour of the Merzouga 44 desert, we will have the chance to meet a nomadic Berber family still residing in a tent in the heart of the Sahara. A cup of mint tea and a chat about their experiences in the desert are in order. We

We will stop at various scenic overlooks to take in the sights and snap some photos. We will have lunch at a restaurant in town and then return to the village. From here, you’ll ride camels to our camp in Merzouga, where the Berbers will be waiting for you. A camel ride can last anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours and thirty minutes, with an hour and a half break on top of the dunes to take in the scenery, watch the sunset, try sandboarding, or whatever else strikes your fancy. Then,

After these unforgettable experiences, you’ll head back to camp for some tea and downtime before dinner. There will be traditional Berber drumming music after dinner, and guests will be able to take in the night sky from inside a nomadic tent.

The third day will take you from Merzouga to the Ziz valley, Errachidia, Midelt, Azrou, Ifrane, and Fes (470 km). 7 Hours

After watching the sunrise over the dune near the camp on the third day, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast and a refreshing shower at the camp before returning on the camels to your original starting point (or taking a 4WD transfer, if you prefer).

From there, we’ll continue toward Fes via the Ziz Valley, home to Morocco’s second-longest river, and the middle Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop for breathtaking views and a restaurant lunch.

After that, in the afternoon, we set out for Fes.

We plan to visit Azrou’s Cedar Forest, where wild monkeys are known to roam freely. A little jaunt into the woods with the camera. Ifrane, sometimes called “Morocco’s Switzerland,” is where we plan to make our pit stop. Our three-day excursion from Fes to the desert town of Merzouga comes to a close when we arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel.
