Overview of the schedule for 3 days tours from desert to fes
Each person will have their own camel, and the journey will take 1.5 hours. Tents have various amenities, depending on your selection, including beds, electricity, a private bathroom with shower, and air conditioning.
Itinerary for 3 days tours from desert to fes
Day 1: Your arrival in Errachidia.
We’ll pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel in Erfoud, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2: Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Camel Trekkin.
After breakfast, you’ll be taken to Erfoud, known as the “fossil capital” and the site of an annual international date festival. Afterwards, we’ll visit the Berber Nomads and travel to a Berber town with a stunning panoramic view, where we’ll have lunch and relax. The Erg Chebbi dunes will be our destination for the afternoon. You’ll spend some time at the hotel before the camel journey.
Water, food, and other necessities will be loaded onto the camels before we go to the desert. The camel ride will last 1.5 hours and each passenger will have their own camel.
You’ll arrive at your individual tent, where you’ll be able to explore the dunes and sandboard on the sand. Moroccan Mint tea (what we call Moroccan Berber Whiskey!) will be waiting for you when you return to the camp. After that, you’ll have a hearty Moroccan Berber tagine dinner at the camp. Immediately after supper, we shall begin the festivities. Afterwards, you’ll be able to relax in the desert while listening to traditional Berber nomad music with drums and dance. Nomad camp dinner and overnight stay.
With a wide range of options, you’ll find anything from air conditioning and a private bathroom to beds and power in a tent (please let us know which amenities you would like for an accurate quote).
Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
Your guide’s cue to wake you up will be the sunrise above the Sahara’s dunes. After returning from Desert Camp on camelback to Merzouga, we’ll have breakfast and showers before setting off on our journey to Fez. We’ll have lunch in Midelt and Azrou, and then continue on to Fez, where we’ll spend the evening with the wild monkeys.
