Your 9-hour tour from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls begins at 08:00 as you head out on a scenic minibus drive to the waterfalls. This is an excellent opportunity to escape from the city and explore a side of Morocco not many visitors get to see. During the drive of approximately 3 hours, you’ll pass through many traditional Moroccan towns and rural villages.
When you arrive at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, you’ll have 4 hours to enjoy the cascades and the area’s natural beauty, see the wild monkeys living in the trees, and swim.
You can walk down along the cascades, relax to the sound of the falls, enjoy a picnic lunch, or visit one of the many cafés and restaurants. After a restful and relaxing afternoon, you’ll head back to Marrakech.
More Information about the Falls
The Ouzoud Falls are the most magnificent and impressive waterfalls in Morocco and North Africa. Ouzoud means “the act of grinding grain” in Berber. This seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills in the region. The bottom of the falls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there are a dozen old small mills that are still in use.
