After lunch in Midelt, the road continues through the Tizi n’Tilghmt Pass and along the Ziz Valley, offering beautiful views of palm trees and small villages. By afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where camels are waiting to take you across the dunes. From the top of a high dune, you will enjoy a stunning sunset. Dinner and overnight stay take place in a luxury desert camp, with Berber music under the stars.

Early in the morning, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes, a peaceful and unforgettable moment. After breakfast, you return to Merzouga by camel, where your driver will be waiting.

This day is dedicated to discovering the Merzouga region. You will visit an old eyeliner mine, then stop to meet nomadic families living in traditional tents. Here, you can learn about their daily life and enjoy a cup of Berber tea. Later, you will visit Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music, performed by locals with roots from sub-Saharan Africa.

After lunch, there is time to walk through a palm grove and visit Merzouga Lake, also called Flamingo Lake when water is present. Dinner and overnight stay will be in a comfortable hotel near the dunes.

After breakfast, the tour continues toward Rissani, once the capital of the Tafilalet region and still an important trading center. You will have time to visit its traditional market, especially lively on market days.

Next, the drive goes to Erfoud, known for fossils. You will stop at a local workshop to see fossilized marble and learn how it is shaped.
