Our 7 days tour from Casablanca itinerary offers a fantastic opportunity to explore some of the most incredible places in the country. Beginning in northern Morocco, we will visit the vibrant city of Casablanca before making our way to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and the charming blue city of Chefchaouen. Our adventure continues to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, the Ismaili capital of Meknes, and the culturally rich city of Fes. From there, we will journey south, taking in the breathtaking sights of Ifrane, the cedar forests, Midelt, the Ziz valley, the traditional market of Rissani, and the fascinating fossils town of Erfoud.
Our adventure reaches new heights as we head to the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where we will ride camels and spend the night in a luxurious campsite in the heart of the desert. Experience the mesmerizing sunset and sunrise over the Sahara, and marvel at the beauty of the Todra and Dades gorges, as well as the awe-inspiring Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Itinerary: 7 days tour from Casablanca to marrakech
- DAY 1 : Arrival to Casablanca
On day one of our itinerary, we’ll arrange for your early pick-up from either the airport, port or your accommodation in Casablanca – the economic hub and largest city in Morocco. Our first stop will be the Hassan II mosque, the country’s largest mosque situated on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic ocean on the city’s west coast. After this visit, we’ll allow some free time for lunch and then proceed to explore the city, including a visit to the beautiful Cornish of Casablanca. Finally, we’ll spend the night at a hotel.
- DAY 2 : Casablanca – Rabat the capital – Chefchaouen
Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive along the coastline towards Rabat – one of Morocco’s imperial cities and its present capital, situated in the northwestern part of the country. Here, we’ll explore the city’s highlights, including the Hassan tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. We’ll break for lunch and then continue our journey, heading northwards through Ouazzane to reach the captivating Blue City of Chefchaouen, nestled in the beautiful Rif Mountains. The town is renowned for its blue-painted alleyways and buildings. Finally, we’ll retire for the night at a hotel.
Today, you’ll discover the hidden treasures of the Merzouga region, including vast sand dunes, desert plains, fossil areas, and lush oases. We start with an off-road drive to visit an old eyeliner (kohl) mine, then visit a nomadic family, where you’ll learn about their traditional lifestyle while enjoying a cup of Berber tea.
Next, we head to Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music, where the locals originally from sub-Saharan Africa perform traditional rhythms and dances. After free time for lunch, you’ll take a walk through a palm grove and visit Merzouga Lake (Flamingo Lake), a seasonal lake attracting migratory birds.

- DAY 3 : Chefchaouen- the Roman ruins of Volubilis- Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, take your time to meander through the stunning blue-painted alleyways of Chefchaouen. Later, we’ll head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasting well-preserved mosaics, pillars, and archways. Following a leisurely stroll around the ruins, we’ll drive about 30 km to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the Ismaili capital. Here, we’ll visit notable landmarks such as Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Finally, we’ll make our way to Fes and spend the night at a Riad.
- DAY 4 : Guided tour sightseeing Fes
Our focus for the day is to explore the highlights of Fes with the aid of a knowledgeable local guide. Known as one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the cultural and religious center of the country, we’ll begin our adventure by visiting the Royal Palace gate. After that, we’ll head to the well-preserved medieval Medina, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we’ll visit the labyrinthine alleys and streets, including the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), Medrasa Bouanania, Najjarine Fountain, Tanneries, and Quaraouin Mosque and University – the oldest university in the world. Upon leaving the Medina, we’ll explore the Jewish Quarter, also known as “the Mellah,” before driving to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of Fes and its Medina. Finally, we’ll return to your Riad.
- DAY 5 : Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara
To witness the breathtaking sunrise in the middle of the desert, we recommend waking up early in the morning. Afterward, enjoy some free time for breakfast before embarking on a camel ride back to Merzouga, where the driver will be waiting. From there, we’ll depart from the desert to visit Rissani town, which was once the capital of Tafilalet and remains a major trading center in the region. The town boasts a lively souk that is open for three days a week.
After exploring Rissani souk, we’ll make our way to Erfoud, where we’ll visit one of the workshops that specialize in fossilized marble. Continuing our journey, we’ll pass through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves before arriving at the stunning Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has created a grand canyon through the mountains, characterized by high red cliff-sided walls, making it an ideal spot for rock climbers. Take some time to explore the gorges and appreciate the stunning landscape. You’ll also have free time for lunch in a restaurant. Later on, we’ll drive to the Dades Valley through Boumalne Dades, making stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation and overlooking the Dades valley for some unforgettable photo opportunities. Finally, we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a hotel.
- DAY 6 :Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
To witness the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert, an early wake-up call is highly recommended. After breakfast, you will ride the camels back to Merzouga, where the driver will be waiting for you. From there, we will depart to visit Rissani town, the former capital of Tafilalet, which is still a bustling trade center with a vibrant souk held three days a week.
After exploring Rissani souk, we will continue our journey to Erfoud, where we will visit one of the workshops showcasing fossilized marble. We will then pass through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves before reaching the Todra Gorges. These gorges are a breathtaking display of nature’s beauty, where the Todra river has carved out a stunning canyon with towering red cliffs. It is a popular spot for rock climbers and offers an opportunity to take in the awe-inspiring landscape. We will have free time for lunch at a nearby restaurant before proceeding to the Dades valley, through Boumalne Dades. We will make stops at the famous “monkey fingers” rock formation and at a lookout point overlooking the Dades valley. Finally, we will have dinner and spend the night at a hotel.
- DAY 7 : Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
On the last day of our Morocco tour, we will travel to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival held in May. During the festival, locals offer a wide range of rose products, including perfumes, rose water, oils, and cosmetics. From there, we’ll pass through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the studios where famous movies were shot in Ouarzazate.
Next, we’ll visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This beautiful Kasbah has been featured in many films such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. Our journey will continue to Marrakech through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains, with stops for lunch and photo opportunities at interesting spots along the way. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech, where we will take you to the airport or your accommodation. This marks the end of our 7 days Morocco tour.
