3 Days Sahara Desert Tour From Marrakech

Get ready for a 3-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga! We will pick you up from your location or any location we agree on. The first ascent will be through the spectacular Atlas Mountains, with a pit stop at Tizi nTichka pass (2260m). If you’re up for it, we can swing by some argan oil fellows. Then, on to Ait Benhaddou, this cool UNESCO World Heritage Site that looks like a movie star with unique towers and mud architecture

hungry? We pack you up with a delicious lunch in one of Ouarzazate’s great restaurants. We’ll also be swinging by Atlas Studios, home to big pictures like Game of Thrones and Prison Break. To end the day, we will relax in the Dades Gorges for the night.

Embrace the Morning Magic: Kick off your day with a good breakfast, and then hop into a car for a delightful drive through the Dades Valley. They call it the "1000 Kasbahs Route," and it's like stepping into a time machine surrounded by those classic Moroccan forts.

Get Captivated by the Canyon: Reach the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorge, sculpted by the mighty Todgha River. Take a hike along the water's edge, feeling tiny next to those towering cliffs that almost touch the sky. Inhale the cool mist as you wander through this narrow wonderland.

Chase Your Desert Dreams: Treat yourself to a tasty Berber lunch and continue the journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the magical Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Climb aboard your trusty camel and let it lead you across the golden sands as the sun puts on a fiery show in the sky. Arrive at your comfy desert camp tucked among the dunes.

As darkness settles, climb a nearby dune and soak in the silence of the vast desert beneath a sky filled with stars. Enjoy a Moroccan dinner under the starry sky, followed by lively entertainment around the crackling campfire. Marvel at shooting stars and constellations, clear as day in the heart of the desert. Drift off to sleep serenaded by the desert sounds, and wake up to another stunning sunrise over the dunes. Relish a hearty breakfast before heading back, your soul full of adventure and a bag of cherished memories.

Wake up and shine! At sunrise, we'll hop back on our trusty camels for a different journey back to Merzouga. An early kick-off (around 8:00 am) awaits as we set our sights on returning to Marrakech.

This time, we'll cruise through the cool desert town of Alnif, where a delicious lunch awaits at the renowned Nkob spot. Revitalized, we'll speed through the Ait-Saouen mountain pass, winding our way back to Marrakech. By sunset, we'll drop you off at your Marrakech spot (or the airport, if that's your plan). And just like that, your incredible 3-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert wraps up.
