Make your way to the Koutoubia Mosque, whose towering 77-meter-high minaret dominates the heart of Marrakech. Upon arrival in Oualidia, a tranquil seaside village boasting a protected lagoon, estuary, and access to the untamed Atlantic Ocean, take some time to unwind. Oualidia is a haven for outdoor activities, such as walking, birdwatching (especially in Spring and Autumn as it lies in the center of Morocco's most abundant bird habitat), fishing, swimming, kayaking, kite surfing, and surfing. In Rabat, an Imperial City, you'll explore the Mechouar, which encompasses the walls and ramparts surrounding the Royal Palace, as well as the grand Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya Kasbah. Tangier has always been a melting pot of cultures and serves as the gateway to Africa from Europe. Take a tour of the city, exploring the vibrant medina and its surrounding areas, and admire the magnificent view where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans converge. Spend the night in Tangier.

Chefchaouen is renowned for its vibrant blue-washed houses and is a popular destination for both Moroccan locals and tourists, particularly during the hot summer months. Explore the winding lanes and narrow alleys of Chefchaouen, where you'll find various souks offering delicious cuisine and unique artisan works such as woolen items, intricate embroidery, and goat's cheese. These specialties are native to the North and cannot be found anywhere else in Morocco. Take it easy in the main square, visit a local farm, or go for a hike in the nearby parks. Although not as grand as some of the Roman sites along the Mediterranean coast, Volubilis is still an impressive testament to the country's past. Next, we'll proceed to Meknes, the fourth imperial city of Morocco, and a 17th-century treasure trove of heritage. Here, we'll stop for lunch and explore the historic walls of the medina. Following lunch, we'll take in the sights of Bab el Mansour and visit Moulay Ismail's shrine. After our visit to Meknes, we'll head straight to Fes for an overnight stay.

Our tour will take us to see the famous dye-pits, tanneries, and restaurants. Later in the evening, you have the option of dining at a restaurant in town while enjoying traditional Moroccan entertainment.

Our journey will take us over serene and stunning passes across the Middle and High Atlas ranges, granting us a first glimpse of the remarkable architecture of the south. As we approach Midelt, we will traverse a desolate plain of desert and scrub before stopping for lunch. The town of Midelt is nestled against the backdrop of the dramatic peaks of the High Atlas, which offer a breathtaking view. We will then descend into a desert plain through the Ziz valley, crossing the Tizi-n-Talremt (Pass of the She-Camel). Our journey will lead us south towards Erfoud and Rissani, where we will encounter a vast oasis that is home to more than six million palm trees and surrounded by fortified villages known as ksour. Finally, we will continue our journey along a remarkable route that marks the transition to the desert, until we reach your stunning Kasbah hotel on the edge of the golden sand dunes. You will have time to relax beside the swimming pool and enjoy a live desert blues band show in the evening.

After breakfast, take an hour or two to unwind, and then embark on a thrilling 4 WD off-road tour around the dunes, passing through the Merzouga oasis, Khamlia village to visit the Gnawa village of dark-skinned people who were originally slaves brought from black Africa. Here, you can listen to their spiritual music, meet desert nomads in their tents and discover a new way of life. Nearby, you'll find the Merzouga lake, which is home to various bird species. Afterward, we'll head to Rissani, formerly known as Sijilmassa, where the salt caravans from Timbuktu in Mali used to meet. Here, we'll explore the souk, which offers a variety of items such as spices, vegetables, and clothing. After having lunch with pizza in Rissani, we'll drive back to our Kasbah, where we'll be welcomed with a refreshing glass of tea. Take some time to relax before getting ready for a camel ride into the pink sands of Morocco's highest dunes. We'll have ample time to explore the dunes before sunset, and then enjoy a delectable dinner followed by traditional music. Spend the night in a nomad tent under the stars.

Next, we will take an off-road piste to visit Berber nomads in their caves, where you can enjoy a refreshing glass of tea with them. Continuing on, we will journey through the renowned Valley of the Roses, known for its annual Rose Festival in May, and pass by the impressive kasbahs of Skoura. Our itinerary also includes a visit to the cinematographic museum of Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco". We will cross the riverbed to explore Ait Benhaddou, where you can climb up to the top of the hill and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside from the Agadir (grain store). You can also experience the local way of life by visiting one of the houses and sharing a cup of mint tea with the residents. Later in the afternoon, we will drive north across the High Atlas mountains via the winding Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m), a road constructed by the Foreign Legion in 1936. The descent will take us past Berber villages to the plain surrounding the enchanting city of Marrakech. Marrakech, founded in the 11th century, is a city steeped in Arabian Nights-like ambiance with its alleyways, souks, stalls, and markets. The iconic Koutoubia Minaret is a striking feature of the city's skyline, and its elegant architecture is sure to captivate your attention. Adventure awaits the curious traveler in this remarkable city.
