2 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga Desert

On our 2 days tour , we will pass the UNESCO World Heritage site Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, famed for movies like Gladiator ,Game of Thrones, Jesus of Nazareth,The Jewel of the Nile , The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia... After your tour and lunch, we will continue traveling to the Dades Valley with a stop in Ouarzazate to see Taourirt Kasbah. Then we'll proceed through the lush green Dades canyon and the Valley of Roses via the intriguing Palmery of Skoura before coming to Merzouga. The camels will be stocked with water, food, blankets, and other necessities before we set out for the desert. The trek to the heart of the sand dunes would take roughly 1.5 hours per person and each camel. After setting up camp, take a trip around the dunes to take in the gorgeous sunset and try your hand at sand surfing. Moroccan Mint tea (what we call Moroccan Berber Whiskey!) will be ready for you when you return to the camp. Afterwards, the camp chefs will make a great Moroccan Berber tagine for you to enjoy. The celebrations will commence after dinner. Traditional Berber music and dancing will be performed by local Berber nomad musicians, and afterwards you may stare up at the star-studded sky and take in the calm of the desert. Nomads set up camp for meals and the night. Depending on what you pick, tents may feature beds, power, a private bathroom with a shower, and air conditioning.
