Your adventure begins in Fes, where your guide picks you up early from your hotel. You're about to journey across the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Merzouga Desert for a 3-day excursion filled with cultural immersion. En route, you'll visit Berber villages, get up close with macaque monkeys in Azrou's cedar forest, admire Ifrane's alpine-style architecture, and stop in Midelt for lunch. The drive continues through the stunning Ziz Valley to Erfoud, celebrated for its fossil treasures and vibrant date festival. As the day wanes, you'll reach the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where a night under the stars in the desert awaits.

After breakfast, you'll explore Erg Chebbi's surroundings. First, you'll visit Hassi Labied oasis, a marvel of agriculture in the desert. Then, it's on to Sriji Lake and the village of Khamlia, where you'll experience Gnawa music, a soulful heritage of African descendants. A visit to the M'ifis mines reveals the desert's mineral riches. A highlight of the day is spending time with a nomadic Berber family, sharing mint tea and stories. The day's journey includes a camel ride to the Berber camp in Merzouga, offering spectacular views and activities like sandboarding.
