In this short yet great itinerary of 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora you will get to see and do some of Morocco’s main highlights. You will mainly get to experience and visit few of Morocco’s breathtaking spots, for instance, High Atlas Mountains, Tizi N Tichka, and visiting some Kasbahs like the most known one kasbah Ait Benhaddou. But the activity that you will enjoy the most in this 2 days Marrakech to Zagora is having to stay in a desert camp in zagora and riding camels to see the sunset and spend the night there as well as having dinner.

Detailed itineary of 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora

DAY 1 : Travel from Marrakech to Zagora Desert via the High Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate, and the Draa Valley:

Starting our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora you will be picked up from your hotel by your designated driver at around 8:00 A.M. We will drive through the the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the famous Moroccan Tizi N Tichka which has a high point of 2260 Meters (7414,698 Feet). In general, we will make various stops in different places so that you can take pictures. Of course, our special guests have full control over when and where to make stops. We will keep going to Zagora, but before that we will stop at a fortified village in Morocco (Ait Ben Haddou) that is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. You will have time to explore this gem and take pictures.

Afterward, we will keep driving to our long awaited destination Zagora, we will arrive  in the evening, which is the ideal time to ride camels and watch the sunset. We’re going to ride the camels to our Berber camp in the desert. On this night, the main things you will do are eat a delicious Moroccan meal,while listening and grooving to Berber rythms, and looking up at the stunning starry sky.

DAY 2 : Travel from Zagora to Marrakech via the Draa Valley, Ait Ben Haddou, and the High Atlas Mountains:

resuming our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora with a morning delicious breakfast. After that, we will be driving to Marrakech but first we will make a stop at Ouarzazate where will pay a visit to Morocco‘s famous studio Atals studios where a plethora of movies and Tv shows were filmed such as: Prison Break, Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy and many more. After enjoying your time there we will leave heading towards Marrakech, taking the high Atlas Mountains route, where you will be seeing all the familiar places we passed by before when we started our journey on day 1. At last we will have arrived to the red city Marrakech and our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora Itinerary would come to an end.
