Known as the "red city" to Moroccans, Marrakech seamlessly blends authenticity and modernity, offering a truly enchanting experience. The city boasts breathtaking architecture, rich history and culture, friendly locals, beautiful riads, and stunning gardens, all waiting to be explored. During your tour, you may have the opportunity to visit some of Marrakech's most notable sites, such as the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia minaret, the Badia and Bahia palaces, and Dar Si Said. These are just a few suggestions for your tour, as your guide is flexible and able to customize the itinerary to your preferences.
You will embark on a 3 hours journey to Essaouira today, where your guide will be waiting to show you around the historic city and its 18th-century port and fortress. Following your exploration, you will be driven back to your lodging in Marrakech.
Today's itinerary includes a scenic drive to the High Atlas Mountains, where you'll take in breathtaking views of the region. You'll then embark on a brief hike alongside a local guide from Imlil, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of the Berber way of life and history while basking in the fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. Afterward, you'll be driven back to your lodging.
You'll embark on a 3.5 hours drive this morning to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you travel, you'll enjoy panoramic views while passing through the Tizi-nTichka pass. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to explore the fortified town and its Kasbahs by taking a leisurely stroll.
