Once you’ve rested, it’s time to ride your camels through the shimmering sands of the desert. Your camel guide will pause so you may take in the view from atop a dune around sunset, and then bring you back to camp for some tea. After a hearty meal, a group of drumming nomads will play for you while the fire crackles under the night sky.

You will ride camels back to your driver after seeing one of the most breathtaking sunrises of your life. Next, we go to the world-famous Todra Gorges, where 300-meter-tall cliffs rise spectacularly on each side of a tiny channel. You’ll have lunch in town before continuing on to Dades valley, where you can witness the unique rock formations called “monkey fingers” and gorgeous mud kasbahs.
Day 4: Dades Valley, Rose Town, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Marrakech:
Today, we’re going to the village of El Kalaa Mgou’na, often known as “Rose Town,” where each year in the spring, over 400 metric tons of rose petals are harvested and turned into rosewater or shipped to the perfume industry. In the month of May, this town has a festival dedicated to roses. Numerous kasbahs dot the verdant landscape of the Dades valley, which we will pass through on our way from Rose Town to Skoura.
Skoura, a tiny village in southern Morocco, is home to some of the region’s most stunning kasbahs and is surrounded by tens of thousands of palm trees. From there, we’ll go to Ouarzazate, also known as “Hollywood of Africa,” which is home to some of the country’s largest film studios. From there, we’ll continue on to Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most photographed and most well-known kasbah, which is also a Unesco World Heritage Site.
