Itinerary for 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert :
The 2 days Morocco Sahara desert tour from Fes begins with a prompt pickup from either the airport or your lodgings in Fes. We travel south, stopping at Imouzzer to visit the famous town of Ifrane, known for its cold weather, snow, and alpine-style homes. This town is referred to as Switzerland of Morocco. Afterward, we head to the cedar's forest, where we can observe the Barbary Macaques monkeys and offer them food. Our journey continues to Midelt for lunch, then we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz river to reach the Merzouga Sahara desert.
In the afternoon, we switch to camels and traverse the sand dunes. We then take a break to admire the beautiful sunset from the top of a dune. We proceed to the desert camp, where you can listen to Berber drum music and dance under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided in the camp.
Start your day by witnessing the stunning sunrise in the core of the desert. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga where your driver will be waiting. The journey continues to Rissani, a historic city that was once the capital of Tafilalet and is still a bustling trading hub with a vibrant market open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After exploring the market, head to Erfoud to visit a workshop of fossilized marble.
Next, take a scenic drive along the Ziz River and stop for a breathtaking view of the Ziz Valley. Then, continue through the cedar forest and Ifrane to reach Fes. Your tour ends with a drop-off at the airport or the hotel of your choice.

see what some of our clients say about trip:
I had an amazing time in Morocco! There were so many awesome places to visit, and the two-day tour was really well-planned. The camp staff was super attentive, and the food was delicious - both dinner and breakfast. At night, we had an awesome experience with a fire, singing, and dancing with everyone at the camp. It was a really surprising and unforgettable journey, and I would definitely recommend the "All Morocco Tours" and their team. They helped us experience the culture right from the start, and were always polite, friendly, and fun. The vehicle we used was also comfortable, clean, and brand new. I highly recommend them!
