Itinerary of 4 tour from Errachidia to Marrakech :

On the first day of your 4 days tour from Errachidia to Marrakech, we will collect you from the airport and head south to the Merzouga Sahara desert. You will enjoy dinner there before spending the night.

After a filling breakfast, we'll spend the day exploring the wonders of the Merzouga region. From sand dunes to wild lakes, mines, fossils, and lush oases, this area is perfect for outdoor activities.

We'll kick off our journey by visiting an old eyeliner mine and then pay a visit to the nomads in their handmade tent. You'll learn about their way of life and enjoy a cup of Berber tea. Our next stop is Khamlia village, where you'll be treated to Gnaoua music and dancing performances. The village is home to people from sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After a break for lunch at a local restaurant, we'll take a walk through a palm grove and then drive a short distance to see the wild Flamingos lake.

Later in the afternoon, you'll mount a camel and embark on a journey across the desert, stopping to catch a breathtaking sunset from the top of a high dune. We'll then continue to a luxurious camp, where you can dance the night away to the rhythm of Berber drums under a starry sky. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp are included.

After a hearty breakfast, we'll depart the desert and head to Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Today, Rissani remains a major trading hub in the region and its souk is lively and bustling on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

After wandering through the Rissani market, we'll make our way to Erfoud, where we'll visit a workshop that specializes in fossilized marble. We'll then drive through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves and arrive at the Todra Gorges, a popular destination for rock climbers. Here, you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the canyon, carved out by the Todra river, as well as its high red cliff-sided walls. Feel free to explore the gorges at your leisure. Lunch at a restaurant is available. Afterwards, we'll continue to the Dades valley through Boumalne Dades and make stops at the "monkey fingers" rock formation and a mountain top overlooking the valley. The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

On the final day of your 4 day Morocco desert tour, we'll head to Kalaa Magouna and visit the Rose Valley, where an annual Rose Festival is held in May, showcasing local products made from roses, including perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. We'll then travel through the palm groves of Skoura and arrive in Ouarzazate, also known as the "Gate of the Desert". Here, we'll visit the famous movie studios where numerous well-known movies have been filmed.

Next, we'll head to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and well-known for appearing in many movies and TV series, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. We'll then drive through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, taking breaks for lunch and photo opportunities along the way. Our journey will conclude with a drive to Marrakesh and a drop-off at either the airport or your accommodation, marking the end of the tour.
