3 Days Tour From Errachidia To Fes

On the first day of your 3-day desert tour from Errachidia to Fes, we will pick you up from Errachidia airport and head south towards the Sahara desert. You will have dinner and spend the night in Merzouga.

After breakfast, the day is devoted to exploring the wonders of Merzouga. From sand dunes and wild lakes to mines, fossils, and oases, there are countless opportunities for outdoor activities.
Our journey begins by visiting an ancient eyeliner mine in Merzouga, then we visit the nomads in their handmade woven tents to learn about their way of life and enjoy a traditional Berber tea. Afterwards, we head to the Khamlia village where you can experience the vibrant music and dancing of the Gnaoua people, who are descendants of sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. There will be free time for lunch at a restaurant, followed by a stroll through a palm grove. We will then drive to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also known as the flamingos lake.
In the afternoon, we will ride camels through the desert and stop at the top of a high dune to take in the stunning sunset. We'll then continue to a luxury camp, where you can dance to the rhythm of Berber drums under a star-filled sky. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

On the last day of your 3 days Desert to Fes tour, you will wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise in the heart of the desert. After a leisurely breakfast, you will return to Merzouga on camels where the driver will be waiting.
Next, we will leave the desert and visit Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a bustling trading center, with a lively souk that is particularly active on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After a walk through the souk, we will continue to Erfoud to visit one of the workshops that produce fossilized marble.

Along the way, we will stop to admire the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley and take a break for lunch in Midelt. We will then visit the cedars forest, home to the Barbary Macaques, where you can feed them while exploring the forest. Afterwards, we will visit Ifrane, known for its low temperatures, snow, and alpine-style houses. It is no wonder it is referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we will drop you off at either the airport or your accommodation in Fes, and the tour will come to an end.
